Nathan's Yirdaki's /Didjeridu's are meticulously handcrafted Australian made superior quality tuned musical instruments.
They are made from naturally termite hollowed native Australian Eucalyptus trees harvested from the Northern Territory.
Burton Didj's are renown for their unique bell sizes, tapering into small mouthpieces, that allow for optimum backpressure, awesome acoustics, ideal resonance and extreme volume.
All Burton Didj's are individual and carry the Burton stamp of authenticity. This is burned into the bell end of every Burton Didj.
Burton Didj proudly announces the arrival of Burton Budget Blaster Range of Australian Didjeridu's.
I have decided after many months of thinking, planning and selecting to offer a range of didjeridu's that can meet the tightest budget.
Over the years I have countless emails asking for a good didj around these prices and the answer has always been no. I can not afford to offer Burton Yirdaki's at these prices but have felt for these customers whom may want to start in at this end of the market and then progress to other levels in their didj journey. I am concerned especially for international customers whom may end up with a souvenir didj and not an instrument and may give up on their didj experience because they are not able to progress, it could be the didj not their playing.
So I can now deliver instrument didj's that I myself have played, hand selected, upgraded and would recommend with all my confidence !
Look no further than the Budget Blasters for an excellent all Australian Didjeridu experience that sits in the back pocket comfortably.

Donation to Close the Gap Campaign - Oxfam Australia Dec-2007
In December 2007 Burton Didj auctioned a Yirdaki autographed by Xavier Rudd on E-Bay.
The final bid was $2026. Congratulations Simon Hulls, pictures and story coming soon.
Although I am a very small family based business I have donated $800 to Oxfam Australia Close the Gap Campaign. I am proud to be actively involved in making a change.
I believe everyone can make a difference no matter how small the action seems.
This campaign aims to demand indigenous health equality within a generation.
You can make a difference and help bring about change by, donating, sign the pledge or buy a t-shirt.

The Rripangu Yirdaki Masterclass - 21-27 July 2008
Burton Didj proudly supports and encourages participation in the Yirdaki Masterclass 2008.
Finally some new Burton stock is up a C#, D# and two E's. Also a Specials page with Yirdaki's that for unknown reasons have not sold so I have marked them down in price plus thrown in FREE FREIGHT to help move them out the door.
Well some exciting news about the new range of Budget Blaster Didjeridu's.
I have thought for a long time about this part of my business and want to meet the needs of my customers who are seeking a quality Didj for a budget price!
These are not my Didj's, they are from unknown makers from around Australia which I have selectively sourced and purchased after being impressed by their playing ability! Check them out, great sticks that surprise.
As mentioned above Djalu is holding his master class this year in Nhulunbuy (Gove) in Arnhem Land.
For those of you that aren't aware of Djalu, he is the custodian of the Yirdaki, (didjeridu). He is a highly respected elder of the Galpu clan and is also a Grand Master Yirdaki craftsman (Arguably the greatest yirdaki craftsmen ever) and whom taught me how to craft Yirdaki's many years ago. A life changing experience for anyone wishing to attend. All the details above and on ididj's website.
To all my existing customers I trust your Burton Yirdaki's are performing at their best, keep up the playing and enjoy the earthy vibe that only a didj can bring!
